Cute Fantasy Update #11: Player Customization & Animals!

Cute Fantasy Update #11: Player Customization & Animals!

11th update brings fully customizable player, and a lot of new animals to add to your farm!

Player Customization:

Player is now fully customizable. You have a lot of new shirts, pants, shoes and hairstyles to choose from. Its best to use aseprite file you can download after buying premium version of the pack to fully understand where should each layer be.

On the other hand you can still download premade player (the files are in "Old_Sprites.zip") if you prefer it that way.

New clothes and accesories will be slowly added with each new update.

New Animals:

All big animals now have up and down animations. This includes: Cow, pig, horse, sheep.

Animals like: chicken, duck, goose, swan have only front and back side animations.

New animals list:

  • Duck
  • Frog
  • Goose
  • Mouse
  • Swan

NPCs:

There is 8 premade NPCs now. You can create much more using player customization sprites.

List of premade NPCs:

  • Bartender Bruno
  • Bartender Katy
  • Chef Chloe
  • Farmer Bob
  • Farmer Buba
  • Fisherman Fin
  • Lumberjack Jack
  • Miner Mike

Hi,
Great work!
Please add hats in near update!
Also instruction on how to figure out which hands (or other piece) fit which tool, frame etc.
I don't really get it as it is right now.
Gonna write my own custom animation engine with those assets though.

Yeah I know its confusing and I am working all the time to make it as accesible and easy to use as possible. Will add hats!

Hi Kenmi, love your asset pack! I'm using it for my prototype but running into some issues with the spritesheets.

Would you happen to have any documentation showing:

  • The naming/ID for each tile in the spritesheets
  • How the spritesheets are organized/structured
  • Any metadata files or PSDs with tile labels

I've managed to work through some tiles by trial and error, but having a reference guide or properly labeled files would really help me integrate them into my game engine more efficiently.

Thanks for the great work!

You're doing spectacular work, Kenmi! Many thanks for the continuous support.

Thank you!

I have bought this asset already. Do I have to buy again in order to get an update?

No, you can download it again and you should get all the new files.
